Another use case would be for coding of candidates. Lets say we have a field called "Discipline" for our candidates and then a field called "Specialty" which is only relevant for candidates with specific disciplines.

It would be helpful to configure the system so that "Specialty" is only visible if a specific "Discipline" is selected. Alternately, could you restrict the in "Specialty" according to the Discipline selected?

Maybe something for the category custom fields. :)

Hi, just stumbled across this and find it to be an interesting idea.

As I understand Juliens request:

We would like to have fields that are only displayed given the condition that certain information is entered in another field.

If the condition is not met, the field is not in view, and can not be accessed and therefore does not take up space.

To pick up Juliens Example:

A field called "Fluency" would only be displayed, available or maybe even autofilled, if there is information in the corresponding "language" Field as well
